🌸 BTMS-50 – A conditioning emulsifier that makes hair soft and smooth.
🌿 Lavender-Infused Oil – Nourishes and calms the scalp while adding a lovely scent.
💛 Cetearyl Alcohol – Adds richness to the texture and improves conditioning.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Water Phase

  • Mix guar gum with propanediol to prevent clumping.
  • Add the mixture to distilled water and stir well until fully dissolved.

2️⃣ Heat Both Phases

  • Weigh the water phase and note the weight (to replace any evaporated water later).
  • In a separate beaker, combine the oil phase ingredients (BTMS-50, lavender-infused oil, cetearyl alcohol, and coco silicone).
  • Place both the water and oil phases in a double boiler and heat to 70-75°C.

3️⃣ Blend & Cool

  • Remove from heat and reweigh the water phase to check for water loss.
  • Slowly pour the water phase into the oil phase while mixing.
  • For larger batches, use an immersion blender; for smaller batches, a milk frother works well.

4️⃣ Add Cooldown Phase Ingredients

  • Let the mixture cool to room temperature before adding the cooldown phase ingredients (Polyquaternium-7, Silk Protein, Panthenol, Vitamin E, Lavender Essential Oil, and Liquid Germall Plus).
  • Mix well to ensure all ingredients are fully incorporated.

5️⃣ Check & Adjust pH

  • Make a 10% solution of your conditioner by diluting a small amount with water.
  • Use pH strips or a pH meter to check the pH.
  • The ideal pH is around 4.5, which helps keep hair smooth and balanced.
